There is No Deeper Meaning Here

I stumbled into this idea and I’m not entirely sure how or why. Partly inspired by the early work of Laurie Simmons, I purchased two different model train passenger sets (one 1:25 scale and the other 1:50) and positioned the passengers all over my backyard at different times of the day.
I just thought it would be fun to chase the sun with them.

As a part of an oral history project, I was asked to take portraits of mothers with their children. These images were taken directly following the mothers sharing their experience of labor and delivery.
